Site work for a water / sewer project in Nanaimo, British Columbia. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The works generally consist of: Starting at Turnstone place and terminating at the Nanaimo Parkway: (a) The replacement of the sanitary sewer, consisting of the installation of approximately 97m of new pipe and associated fittings, manholes, service connections and tie ins; (b) Removal of existing sewer and manhole when required; (c) Repair to all fences, gates and other structures to original or better condition; (d) Restoration of all disturbed curb, gutter, and asphalt to original condition; (e) Temporary installation of an approximately 120 m long snow fence at the riparian boundary for Upper Millstone Creek; (f) Excavation within the Tree Protection Zone of several trees; (g) All works incidental thereto as shown on the specifications and drawings. Starting at the south-west corner of 557 Doreen Place and aligned in a north-west direction adjacent to the Nanaimo Parkway: (a) The replacement of the sanitary sewer, consisting of the installation of approximately 176m of new pipe and associated fittings, manholes and tie ins; (b) Removal of existing sewer and manhole when required; (c) Restoration of finished surface with topsoil and hydroseed; (d) All works incidental thereto as shown on the specifications and drawings. Aligned east-west with Farquhar St and starting approximately 28m west of the intersection of Fry St and Farquhar and continuing east to the railway corridor: (a) The replacement of the sanitary sewer, consisting of the installation of approximately 94m of new pipe and associated fittings, manholes, service connections and tie ins; (b) Removal of existing sewer and manhole when required; (c) Restoration of all asphalt to original condition; (d) All works incidental thereto as shown on the specifications and drawings. On Watkins St between Vitoria Rd and Nicol St: (a) The replacement of the sanitary sewer, consisting of the installation of approximately 99m of new pipe and associated fittings, manholes, service connections and tie ins; (b) Removal of existing sewer and manhole when required; (c) Hydraulic rock breaking when required; (d) Restoration of all asphalt to original condition; (e) All works incidental thereto as shown on the specifications and drawings.
