Site work, new construction and renovation of a mixed-use development in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; for site work for a water / sewer project; and for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

This Request to Pre-Qualify (RTP) serves to pre-qualify Prime Contractors and Underground Contractors for the construction of City of Yellowknife Lift Station No. 1 Replacement project. The proposed works are listed below but may be increased or decreased at the discretion of the City of Yellowknife. (The City): Furnishing of all materials, plant, equipment, tools, supplies, temporary lighting and heating, transportation, labour, and superintendence necessary for the construction of the work as herein specified and as shown on the drawings. Construction of new sewage lift station including. but not limited to: building foundation and envelope, mechanical, electrical and process work. Construction of a 300 mm new sewage forcemain from the new lift station to 44th Street which extends for a length of 580 meters. Construction of civil undergrounds including but not limited to: two sections of sanitary sewer trunk, a new sanitary flow splitting chamber, storm sewer, catch basins, and water main. Earthworks on site including but not limited to: excavation and backfilling of the new lift station, and construction of new and upgraded parking lot, and truck turn-a-round area. Civil site work including but not limited to: tree clearing, organic stripping, landscaping, topsoiling, grass seeding and fence installation. Facility commissioning. Testing all materials for approval for incorporation into the work. Selective demolition and decommissioning of the existing Lift Station including but not limited to: building envelope and mechanical, electrical, and process equipment. Cleaning up of the site. Repair of all defects for one year after completion of the work.
