The work generally consists of the demolition and removal of existing buildings at the current Wahiawa Civic Center, including the removal of 2 on-grade parking lots and tree removal and repurposing as indicated on the drawings. Project is to construct two (2) new 2-story buildings consisting of a District Court Judiciary Building and a State Office Building on a site of approximately 4 acres. Site development includes approximately 85 surface parking stalls, landscaping, site lighting, 2 trash enclosures, an air conditioning plant enclosure, and an emergency generator enclosure. 1. Each Bidder shall wear a mask and observe all precautions due to the COVID-19 situation. Provide proof of vaccination or negative COVID test per guidelines for visiting State facilities. The estimated value of the public works contract is $250,000 or more and the apprenticeship agreement preference pursuant to Hawaii Revised Statutes 103-55.6 (ACT 17, SLH 2009) shall apply. The Hawaii products preference pursuant to ACT 175, SLH 2009 may be applicable for items of this solicitation.
