For Superpave Asphalt products, and Limestone for the year 2022. Attention all asphalt bidders: The City of Lower Burrell (City) will award bids to the lowest responsible bidder. After award of the contract, if the asphalt suppliers plant is broken down or the specified material is unavailable, the City reserves the right and will purchase the specified asphalt from the second lowest responsible bidder due to material unavailability. This permits the City to perform its work for the health, safety, and welfare of the people and traveling public. Each bid must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Property Surety Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid amount, payable to the municipality. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive any informality
