Site work for a civil project in Lower Burrell, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Lower Drennen Road Repair of Slides 1 and 6 Each proposal shall be accompanied by a Certified Check or a Bid Bond in the amount of 10 percent of the bid amount payable to Upper Burrell Township. All laborers and mechanics employed by contractors and subcontractors providing services on this project shall be paid wages rates not less than those prevailing on projects of a character similar in the locality as determined by the United States Secretary of Labor in accordance with Title 40 Chapter 31 Subchapter of the United States Code. Contract Number will be funded by grants and loans administered by the EPA and the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency and will be subject to th Build America Buy America (BABA) Pennsylvania Steel Products Procurement Act and the American Iron and Steel requirements. Contract Number 24-6 requires all contractors to demonstra compliance with federal Executive Orders 11625 12138 and 12432 and EPA Regulations at 40 CFR Part 30 et al. through the detailed documentation of solicitation of Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs). Contractors must demonstrate the Six Good Faith Efforts to identify and solicit DBE firms that are potential sources for any procurement action in the areas of project construction equipment services and supplies by including state qualified small businesses and minority and women-owned business enterprises in the bidding process. Contract Number 25- is subject to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Workers must be paid not less than the minimum wages established by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Indus as shown in the applicable schedule. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids.
