Failure to attend the pre-bid meeting on time and in its entirety shall disqualify anyone from bidding the project. Details on when and where to meet are included in the bid specifications. All bidders must attend walk-through at every building to be eligible to bid. Only contractors on the plan holders list shall be allowed to participate in the walk-through and therefore be eligible to bid the project. Bid specifications will not be available for distribution at the walk-through; contractors should bring their information packets with them if desired. The Contractor must pay the Prevailing Wage Rates for all work per Illinois Law. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities in the bidding procedure, or accept the Bid that, in its opinion, will serve the best interest of the School District. Any such decision shall be considered final. The Owner reserves the right to set aside a Bid from a Contractor who, in the Owner's opinion, does not exhibit past experience equal to the size and scope of this project.
