A certified check, cashier s check, or bid bond made payable to the Sweetwater County Clerk of the bid shall accompany each bid as a guarantee that if the bond is accepted, the bidder shall execute a signed contract and furnish the Contractor s Bond within 10 working days after the Notice of Intent to award the contract. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 30 days after the date of the bid opening. All bids are to be prepared in accordance with the contract documents which were prepared by Sweetwater County located in Green River, Wyoming. This project is partially funded using Federal Grant Funds. Therefore, all Federal Requirements associated with the use of these funds must be followed for this entire project. No bids will be considered which are not submitted on the original proposal forms, signed by the authorizing representative of the bidder and submitted in the envelope clearly marked FY2021 CMAQ Dust Control Project Magnesium Chloride Application on Multiple County Roads No bids will be considered in which the Proposal, Specifications, or any Provisions have been modified. No verbal explanations, clarifications, additions, or instructions will be binding to either Sweetwater County or the Bidders, except those confirmed in writing. Bids must be received in the office of the Public Works Director of Sweetwater County on or before the time and date specified. Bids received after the time specified will not be considered and will be returned unopened to the bidder. The Board of County Commissioners of Sweetwater County hereby notifies all bidders that minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this Invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, religion, sex, color, national origin, age or disability. All bids will be presented to the Board of County Commissioners of Sweetwater County for acceptance and awarding the contract(s) at their regular meeting, held on the 5th day of April 2022 at 8:30 a.m. in the Meeting Room of the Board of County Commissioners. The Board of County Commissioners of Sweetwater County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities or technical defects in bids, as may be in the best interest of Sweetwater County. A signed contract, furnished to the successful bidder, results in a binding contract without further action by either party.
