Professional engineer services and construction/contract administration services for HVAC system renovations and improvements at Delmar Middle and High Schools, which are preferably in priority order: Add 110 vertical U-tubes to existing geothermal borefield and address central heating water system equipment shortcomings Replace prioritized Energy Recovery Units/System with decoupled packaged water source ERV units/single zone VAV units for common areas. New units will need to allow for proper moisture control and maintain relative humidity below 60% Replace and/or retrofit classroom ventilation systems (i.e. water source heat pumps and/or ERV units) so that the fresh air is delivered completely separately from the water source heat pumps in what is referred to as a de-coupled system Lower relative humidity in prioritized spaces with high occupancies by installing demand control ventilation with retrofitted carbon dioxide sensors that can modulate the outside air flow rates down when spaces are not fully occupied Other related renovations and/or improvements as identified by the Delmar School District Address all communications to the person listed below; communications made to other State of Delaware personnel or attempting to ask questions by phone or in person will not be allowed or recognized as valid and may disqualify the vendor. The State of Delaware may include in the final contract liquidated damages provisions for non-performance. The term of the contract between the successful bidder and the State shall be for 2 (two) years with 2 (two) optional extensions for a period of one (1) year for each extension. The State reserves the right to reject any non-responsive or nonconforming proposals. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
