The purpose and intent of this invitation to bid is to establish contract(s) with experienced, qualified, bonded and licensed, contractors to provide for plumbing repairs and services (all labor, personnel, supervision, equipment, supplies, and materials, etc.), on designated work tasks, which cannot be handled in-house. Services will be required on an as needed basis, county wide, for anticipated projects district wide. This bid will establish fixed hourly labor rate(s) and firm percentages for parts, supplies and materials (unless materials/parts designated to be provided by the district), and applicable subcontractors or crew rates, for the contract period as specified herein. All pricing shall include all freight/shipping charges (if applicable). Funding for such anticipated projects will be through the site's board approved budget, district wide. Services or tasks include, but are not limited to: General Plumbing Repairs & Services; Hook-Up Plumbing, Water & Sewer Lines; Installing Hot Water Piping; Sump Pumps (installation and repairs); Snake Sewer Lines; Underground Sewer Piping Repair and Replacement (up to 8") Underground Domestic Water Lines Repair and Replacement (up to 6") Contractors must be able to install and repair domestic underground water lines up to 6" diameter and sewer lines up to 8" in diameter using their own forces.
