It is the City of Yuma's intent of these specifications to set the minimum standards to be used for the bidding of the services. Any references to Make, Model and Manufacturer are only to indicate minimum specifications for quality and performance. They are not intended to be restrictive in nature or to eliminate use of any manufacture's products. 1.1 Reverse tine rototill with a Rotodarion or equivalent to a depth of not more than 3" on various baseball and softball infields. 1.2 A small grading tractor with transit-guided laser on grading box shall laser level the infields to +/- 1/4 ". 1.3 The finished result shall be a smooth uniform finish of redistributed infield mix soil particles, with no dirt clots greater than 1" diameter. 1.4 Vendor shall take great care in not disturbing or tilling the native soil based material in the infield mix. 1.5 Vendor must utilize one ton of Turface Elite or equal mixed per manufacturer specifications into the current profile. 1.6 Vendor have no less than five-years of verifiable experience of ballfield grading services in Major League Spring Training facilities or equivalent.
