The deadline to ask questions is 3/25/2022 5:00 PM CST TRWD is requesting to have Vendor replace 3 existing power poles. The poles to be replaced are currently in service on at TRWD's Richland Chambers site. The replacement will include the poles and the associated hardware, new wooden poles, new fiberglass cross arms, new polymer standoffs and dead-end strain relief insulators, new arrestors, new cutouts, new insulators, and guy wires if needed. The goal of the replacement of these poles is to install new materials in place of the existing poles. The 1st pole located closest to the substation and is the first 1 pole on our system. The 2nd pole is the next pole inline and has the cutouts for the site. Replacement of these poles will need to be done hot. Vendor will be responsible to coordinate with Navarro Electric coop to have the recloser set to one shot. The 3rd pole is located just below the Richland Chambers spillway replacement can be completed with power removed, Vendor will open the inline disconnect switches and install grounds. Power will need to be restored by the end of the day. The 3rd pole has 2 primary risers, these will remain in place. Hardware for the risers (only) can be reused. Vendor will take care to ensure the wires to the risers are not damaged during the replacement. Currently there are 2 sets of 3 phase cutouts on this pole vendor will install new cutouts on opposite sides of the pole so that each set of 3 phase cutouts can be operated without coming in contact with the other set of cutouts. The voltage on this line is 3 phase 24.9k phase to phase and 12.5 k to ground. A response will be given for questions submitted by end of day March 14, 2022. The District's DIVERSE BUSINESS Participation goal on this project is 10 % of the base bid value of the contract.
