Removal and hauling of approximately 30,000 cubic yards of sediment from sedimentation ponds 1 & 2 at Tarrant Regional Water District's (TRWD) George Shannon Wetlands to the Trinity River Pump Station (TRPS). Haul length to disposal site is approximately 1.5 miles. Sediment must be spread out evenly to maintain existing drainage at the TRPS. Question Deadline 09/12/2025 at 5:00 PM CT Questions are to be submitted using the Question and Answer process through the Procurement Portal Contractor will remove, haul, and spread approximately 30K cubic yards of silt from Sedimentation Pond #1 and #2 at the George Shannon Wetlands to the district's Trinity River Pump Station (TRPS) compound. Refer to Figure 1 in Appendix 1 for an overview of the project site and the proposed haul route. _ Contractor will complete pre and post topographic survey of the disposal site and Sed. Ponds 1 and 2 for quantity tracking and estimating. _ Contractor shall submit a Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) to TRWD for approval and signature. Contractor is responsible for all installation, maintenance, and removal of required BMPs for the site to comply with the latest TCEQ storm water pollution prevention regulations. Contractors shall be responsible for filing a notice of intent (NOI) at the start of construction with the TCEQ and for filing a notice of termination (NOT) at the end, also with TCEQ. Refer to Specification 01568 in Appendix 1 for SWPPP requirements. For Proposals over $50,000, Bidders must submit a bid bond of at least two (2) percent of the total amount of the bid issued by a surety legally authorized to do business in the State of Texas. The proposal security shall be a guarantee that, if awarded the contract, the Offeror will promptly enter into a contract in the form attached hereto and furnish any necessary bonds required by the District within ten (10) calendar days after the Contract has been awarded. The proposal security shall be forfeited to the District should the Offeror fail to enter into a contract and/or fail to provide acceptable bonds. The proposal bond shall be made payable to the Tarrant Regional Water District. The District reserves the right to reject the proposal of any Offeror which does not meet the above criteria and/or the other terms and conditions expressed herein to the District's satisfaction. The District also reserves the right to waive all formalities and technicalities to adopt the most advantageous construction of the contract documents or any applicable statute or code.
