Renovation of a medical facility in Montreal, Quebec. Working plans call for the renovation of a 268,380-square-foot, eight-story above grade medical facility.
Upgrades, repairs and improvement to the St. Mary Hospital building. The scope of the project includes the modernization, maintenance and improvement of care units and other facilities and provides for the reconstruction of a building adjacent to the Hospital emergency in the northeast sector as well as minor redevelopment in the existing main pavilion. The newly created pavilion of approximately 24,850 m2 on eight levels above ground will extend the main façade on Lacombe Street and will house all of the programming of the care units and units making up the new outpatient center. It will be connected to the main pavilion by passages on the first three levels above ground. TIMELINE: The Quebec Minister of Health has confirmed that the project is entered in the current Quebec Infrastructure Plan and its planning continues. Working drawings are ongoing. It is expected that the project design will be complete in 2025. Timelines of further project development are being finalized. Note. The owner has issued a request for proposals from professional consulting firms for commissioning of the project that is now followed in the report under CRM ID name Hôpital St. Mary Modernization - Project 523836 - Commissioning.
