Sealed bids for a single contract for streetscape improvements, including street and sidewalk excavation, base course construction, concrete sidewalk and street pavement construction, installation of sidewalk and roadway concrete brick pavers, installation of electrical conduits, wiring and fixtures and street asphalt pavement construction, including: removal and replacement of 4-inch concrete sidewalk (3,900 square feet), removal and replacement of 8-inch concrete pavement (2,000 square feet), removal and replacement of 30-inch curb & gutter (300 lineal feet), removal and replacement of sidewalk pavers (11,400 square feet), removal of 8-inch concrete pavement and installation of crosswalk street pavers (3,900 square feet) and installation of conduits, wiring, fixtures and controls. The quantities are subject to change without notice prior to document distribution. Bidders must be pre-qualified with the City of Jefferson within the last year or must be pre-qualified for this work 5 days prior to the bid deadline in accordance with Section 66.0903 of the Wisconsin Statutes. Each bidder must deposit, with his bid, security in the amount of 5% of the maximum bid amount. Bidders must be experienced in municipal sidewalk and street construction. The City of Jefferson reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities in any bid. Bidder agreesthat the Work will be substantially completed, on or before August 19, 2022
