Site work for a water / sewer project in Nashville, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project includes the replacement of approximately 12,050 feet private-side water services throughout the Village of Nashville. Work includes augering water services, replacing misc. curb stops & boxes and meter pits, obtaining associated plumbing permits. The existing lead service lines will be replaced to the meter or 18 inches inside the structure. Restoration work includes asphalt patching, concrete driveway and sidewalks, gravel driveways, landscape restoration, topsoil, seeding, mulch blanket and all related work. A pre-bid conference will not be held. This project is funded by the State of Michigan SRF program. Davis Bacon prevailing wages will apply. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. The Village of Nashville reserves the right to accept any bid, reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and make the award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the Village of Nashville. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of five percent of Bidders maximum Bid price (determined by adding the base bid and all alternates) and in the form of a Bid bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of the General Conditions. Such Bid bond will be issued in the form included in the Bidding Documents.
