Site work for a water / sewer project in Dover, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of July 8, 2024, this project is almost complete. Rehabilitation of the 4 million gallon Garrison Hill Tank was recommended as part of the Phase 2 Water Facility Improvements Plan. However, the Garrison Hill Tank is the only storage facility serving the main pressure zone. Recommendation is to install a backup redundant tank that will not only help improve fire flow capacity and volume, but will also allow the Garrison Hill tank to be taken off line for routine maintenance or repair. Proposed volume of new tank is 1 million gallons, which will provide redundancy in the event the Garrison Hill Tank has to be taken offline, which provides critical redundancy. Design is underway and project has been submitted at federal level for possible stimulus funding.
