**As of April 12, 2022, project was awarded to Resource Environmental Solutions, LLC, awarded amount is $198,687.53. ** The project consists of stabilizing approximately 1,400 linear feet of Lake George shoreline adjacent to Hobart middle school between 7th and 8th Avenue. Construction activities will include clearing and grubbing, earthwork and grading, installation of stone, planting, seeding, and erosion control blanket installation. Proposals shall be completely executed and must be accompanied by an executed Indiana State Board of Accounts Form 96, confirmation that copies of Addenda were received (if issued), and satisfactory bid security. A certified or cashier's check payable to the School City of Hobart or a bid bond in an amount equal to five (5) percent of the bid amount must accompany each bid. All checks of unsuccessful bidders shall be returned to them by the City upon selection of successful bidder. The successful Bidder will be required to provide a Performance and Payment Bond each in the amount of one hundred (100) percent of the Contract amount. Bidders must be experienced in the construction of the type of facilities to be built under the Contract(s) for which a bid is submitted. In determining the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, the School City of Hobart will consider the Total Base Bid made for the Contract. The School City of Hobart may also consider all other relevant facts mentioned in the Project Documents or which the School City of Hobart may legally consider. The School City of Hobart reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding, should they deem it to be in the public interest to do so.
