CDBG Grant - special conditions and requirements Note that this project is being funded by a Community Development Block grant which requires compliance with Davis Bacon conditions and requirements as noted below: Attention to bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to condition of employment to be observed and Federal prevailing wage rates to be paid under the contract, Section 3 of the 1968 Housing Act, Segregated Facility, Section 109 of the 1984 Housing and Community Development Act and executive Order 11246, and the Civil Rights Act of 1984. Scope of Project includes new concrete floor, mechanical, electrical, plumbing work and exterior storefront for 1st floor restoration of the Hoke Hotel. Address is 25 East 1st Avenue, Hutchinson, Kansas It shall be the Owner s right to cash any Bidder s bid bond if, after being notified that he has been awarded the contract on the basis of the bid submitted herewith, the Bidder refuses or fails to sign the contract and furnish the required Bonds and Certificates of Insurance. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to accept any bid, and to waive any formalities. modifications will be considered if received before the time stated above for the opening of bids. Contractors shall base their Proposals only upon items in the Specifications and Addenda. Do not write substitute proposals into the Form of Proposal.
