A Pre-bid Conference Will Be Held at 9:00 Am Local Time Thursday, March 03, 2022 at the Office of Clay Sims, Director of Operations, Located at 4000 10th St, Meridian, MS 39307. The Project Review Will Be After the Pre-bid Conference. Proposals to Be Submitted in Duplicate on Form Provided With the Bidding Documents and Bids Must Be Accompanied by Security in Form of Certified Check or Bid Bond in the Amount Equal to at Least 5% of the Amount of the Base Bid, Such Security to Be Forfeited as Liquidated Damages, Not Penalty, by Any Bidder Who Fails to Carry Out the Terms of the Base Bid, Execute Contract and Post Performance & Payment Bond as Required With the Time Specified. Liquidated Damages to Be $300.00 Each Day That Expires After the Time Specified by the Contractor From the Notice to Proceed Date to Substantial Completion. The Bid May Not Be Withdrawn After Opening of Bids for a Period of Sixty (60) Days. Owner Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids and to Waive Informalities. Attention Is Directed to Provisions for Equal Employment Opportunity and Payment of Not Less Than the Wages Reproduced in the Wage Rate Scale Provided in the Specification Documents.
