The estimated design-build contract award date is April 2022. The scope of the tribal, designbuild services includes, but is not limited to; design and construction including all structural, electrical, mechanical, doors and windows, drywall, carpentry, insulation, and roofing to provide the Delaware Nation a complete and usable facility. Selection of a Design-Build construction firm will be based on evaluation of the following in descending order: o Firm Experience with similar designbuild projects. (0-25 points) o Staff Construction Experience/Qualifications. (0-25 points) o Partner A-E firm design experience. (0- 25 points) o History of five or more years of commercial construction and provide proof of insurance and bonding capacity. (0- 15 points) o Demonstrate the ability to meet a design-build schedule of 186 calendar days. (0-10 points) o Verifiable Indian Preference for both firms. (0-10 points) This project is subject to Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 12 USC 1701 u and 24 CFR part 135. These regulations will be incorporated into all contracts and sub-contracts. Applicants can be a partnership, corporation, association, and/or other legal entity which will have contractual responsibility for the project. A proposed joint venture should provide six (6) Qualification packets, including all items as stated above, for selection. This project will be performed using U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) grant funding.
