Site work for a water / sewer project in Delaware City, Delaware. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Harbor Street Storm Sewer Connection includes the construction of approximately 150 L.F. HDPE storm sewer on Harbor Street in Delaware City, Delaware. The work includes, but is not limited to, new storm sewer improvements including 2 new junction boxes to connect the existing Clinton Street storm sewer system to the Washington Street storm sewer system. The work also includes abandoning an existing stormwater outfall and restoration of all surfaces disturbed by construction. Bids are especially invited from minority business enterprises and women's business enterprises (MBE/WBE). This project is funded through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). Attention of the bidder is particularly called to the requirements of this program. The work will be subject to the Equal Opportunity requirements of the program. The City of Delaware City reserves the right to waive any informalities and to reject any or all bids. Each Bidder must submit a bid security of not less than ten (10) percent of the bid amount, in a form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. No bid may be withdrawn within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the bid opening.
