The Contractor shall supply all equipment, vessels, vehicles, and materials needed to capture, collect, identify, and relocate the native fish species within the Delaware City Dredged Material Placement Facility in accordance with the specifications listed in the SOW. The fish relocation field effort is anticipated to require about two to three days to complete and will need to commence within two weeks after the issuance of the contract. The work under this purchase order is for the proposed capture and relocation of native fish species from an 85-acre waterbody (herein the "DMPF Pond") within the Federally owned and maintained Delaware City Dredge Material Placement Facility (DMPF) to an approximately 28-acre pond (herein the "Relocation Pond") within the Federally owned Chesapeake and Delaware (C&D) Canal Conservation Area. The DMPF Pond is located at 39.563608, - 75.604391 and is depicted on Figure 1. The Relocation Pond is located at 39.545874, -75.696403 and depicted on Figure 2. The Relocation Pond is located approximately five (5) miles west of the DMPF pond and both waterbodies have access via gravel roadways. The fish relocation effort is to be completed prior to the placement of dredged materials from the Delaware River, Philadelphia to Sea Federal navigation channel which is tentatively scheduled to begin in April of 2025.
