This Request for Quotation (RFQ) is to solicit quotations from qualified suppliers for the supply, delivery and installation of a Steel Deck Motor Truck Scale c/w Engineer designed footings and foundation drawings (to be constructed by others) as well as scale instruments and software capable of producing printed tickets and maintaining records of all transactions. The City of Temiskaming Shores is currently embarking on the development of an expanded Landfill Site and requires the installation of a Steel Deck Motor Truck Scale for the purposes of maintaining accurate records of activities at the site once it is in operation. The work required in this Request for Quotation includes but is not limited to, the supply of an eighty (80) foot scale bed with all appurtenances as outlined in the attached Specifications, the supply of a Certified General Arrangement for Scale and Foundation Drawings, bearing a licensed Engineer's seal, (to be constructed by others), the delivery of the scale bed and all equipment quoted to the New Liskeard Landfill Site on or after August 22, 2022 (to be determined by the City and General Contractor), the placement of the scales and all equipment included in the quotation that will allow for full operation of the scales, calibration and certification of the scales as required by Measurement Canada and a recommended maintenance and calibration schedule.
