Site work for a water / sewer project in Bellevue, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
** This project has been awarded to Nordvind Company in the amount of $227,273. ** Principal items of the project are: - Install 2400 LF of 2 inch HDPE, at grade, for a temporary bypass water main. - Install 1,300 LF of 8 inch HDPE or PVCO water main with associated valves and fittings to replace an existing 6 inch steel water main. - Install 3 new fire hydrants and connect to the proposed water main. - Replace 15 existing water meter service lines and saddles. This project includes bid alternates between pipe bursting and conventional open excavation that will allow the bidder to select the material and installation method that they believe will have the best value for the project. There will not be a scheduled prebid walkthrough. However, potential bidders are welcome to visit the project location at their discretion. Each bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond, Cashier's Check or Certified Check, made payable to King County Water District No. 90 as indicated in the Instruction for Bidders. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids or waive any informalities in the bidding. Engineers Estimate including tax: $250,000
