The City is seeking professional services support to prepare an BUS for the periodic update to the Comprehensive Plan in accordance with state GMA requirements. The update to the City's Comprehensive Plan must be adopted by City Council no later than June 2024. The planning process will consider a range of approaches to distributing 2019- 2044 growth in a manner that, supports a future that is more equitable, includes a range of housing options and typologies, is resilient, multimodal, and environmentally sustainable. The Comprehensive Plan EIS will also include detailed analysis of future land use changes within portions of the Wilburton/N.E, 8th Street and BelRed Subareas being considered in relation to the Comprehensive Plan update. The City seeks a consultant who will prepare an EIS including development of plan alternatives, robust environmental analysis of alternatives, identification of impacts - both positive and negative, identification of mitigation measures, and inclusive public outreach and opportunity to comment The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time
