The work is estimated to cost $3,700,000. The Project consists of exterior and interior renovations to the existing Dennis Senior Center, located at 1045 Route 134, Dennis, MA, as shown and described on Contract Documents prepared by Jacunski Humes Architects, LLC, Berlin, CT., dated March 16, 2022. The areas of renovation will be vacated by the Owner during the entire course of construction. The areas outside the scope of interior renovations will be occupied by the Owner during the entire course of construction, or as needed for the contractor to access as scheduled. Construction phasing is critical and outlined herein. B. The Work consists of exterior and interior renovations to the existing Dennis Senior Center to bring the level of exterior / interior finishes to a level just achieved with recent new construction at the Senior Center for the Town of Dennis, MA. Project will consist of new construction, selective demolition of existing construction, new interior wall construction, ceilings, interior finishes, casework, passenger elevator, handicap accessibility, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems Sitework within this contract shall consist of demolition and removal of existing site improvements and paving, site excavation and backfill to accommodate new construction, new paving, new courtyard pavers, new plantings, new site concrete. All final site grading, site improvements, drainage improvements, connections to rain water downspouts, and landscaping will be performed by the Site Contractor and coordinated with the respective trades.
