San Bernardino County Transportation Authority ("SBCTA") is seeking professional services for the Plans, Specifications and Estimate (PS&E), Environmental Revalidation, Right-of-Way (ROW), and Construction Support for the United Stated 395 (US-395), Phase 2 ("Project") in the City of Hesperia and Victorville. SBCTA Sales Tax Measure I and Federal Funds may be used to cover the cost of the preparation of the PS&E, Environmental Re-validation, ROW, and Construction phase. Bid Bond 0.00% Payment Bond 0.00% Performance Bond 0.00% Online Q&A No The Project would widen US-395 from 2 Lanes to 4 lanes, with a continuous median, between 0.4 miles north of Interstate 15 (I-15) and State Route 18 (SR-18 / Palmdale Road), a distance of approximately 7 miles. It would be a collaborative effort by SBCTA and Caltrans to close a critical gap in US-395 in the Victor Valley. US-395 is designated as a "Priority Interregional Highway" in the Caltrans 2021 Interregional Transportation Strategic Plan (ITSP). US 395 is widely recognized as a critical linkage for goods movement, supporting the economies of multiple inland counties and an important agricultural route to/from the Central Valley. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
