Request for Proposals For WASTE COLLECTION/ REFUSE SERVICES. Introduction McKean County Housing Authority & A Partnership in Housing (hereinafter referred to as MCHA & APIH) is soliciting a proposal from qualified waste collection/refuse services contractors/ companies (hereinafter referred to as Bidder or Firm, or Contractor) for a (3) year contract, to provide collection, and disposal of residential waste in Port Allegany , Smethport and Bradford PA as specified in this solicitation. Bidders will also provide separately priced plans for waste contract/refuse services of MCHA & APIH Properties covering the period of June 1, 2022 through May 31, 2025 Bidders are required to submit written proposals that present the bidders qualifications and understanding of the work to be performed. The bidders proposal should be prepared simply and economically and should provide all information it considers pertinent to its qualifications for Requested for Proposals Qualifications contained herein. Emphasis should be placed on completeness of services offered and clarity of content. Questions Deadline 11:00 A.M. on March 15, 2022 All proposals must be submitted in accordance with the guidelines specified in this Request for Competitive Proposal (RFP). No requirement and/or specification should be construed as an attempt on the part of the Authority to limit competition. However, the Authoritys bid requirements may be used to eliminate non-qualified Contractors.
