Site work for a water / sewer project in Sugar Land, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

In general, the Work consists of cleaning the existing well, repairing the existing well pump, and replacing the well pump motor at Owner's Water Well No. 1. A. Work under this Contract may consist of, but are not necessarily limited to, the following tasks: 1. Mobilize equipment. 2. Wire brush clean the existing well's casing and liner. 3. Jet fill the well and remove debris from the bottom of the well. 4. Perform a post-cleaning CCTV survey of the well and present a report of the findings. a. Existing pumping equipment, including well pump, column assembly and motor have already been pulled from the well. b. The static water level is approximately 169 ft. c. Total depth of the existing well is approximately 860 ft. 5. Furnish and install a new 100 GPM @ 320-ft TDH enclosed shaft bowl assembly. 6. Furnish and install a 360-ft new 8" x 2 1/2 " x 1 1/2 " column assembly with suction pipe and strainer. 7. Furnish and install new 2 1/2 " x 1 1/2 " tension bearing with O-rings. 8. Steam clean, prime and paint the discharge head and its appurtenances. 9. Furnish and install a 370-ft, new 1/4 " stainless steel airline, complete with water level detector kit. 10. Furnish and install a new 125 HP motor for the existing water well pump. 11. Furnish and install a new 3-gallon oil reservoir complete with immersion heater and lubrication kit. 12. Re-assemble and reinstall the repaired pump, column assembly, and new pump motor, including all appurtenances. 13. Start-up and test the well pump and motor. 14. After all new pump, equipment, etc. is installed in the well, a sample of water shall be collected upstream of any chlorine injection in a sterile container on three successive days and a test made of each sample for coliform organisms. The samples shall be taken by and the test made by a laboratory approved by the ENGINEER, and the ENGINEER shall be furnished a copy of the laboratory report prior to completion of the step tests. If any coliform organisms are found present in any sample, the Contractor shall re-sterilize the well and have the water re-sampled as stated above until such time as no coliform organisms are found present in a water sample collected or until such time as the ENGINEER becomes convinced that coliform organisms exist naturally in the waterbearing formation and are not present in water produced from the well as a result of the operations of the Contractor.
