Site work and paving for a road / highway in Harrisonville, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
As of May 27, 2022, the construction of the project is already completed. The work under this Contract consists of the following two components Mill and Overlay (Base Bid) and Add Alternates. Direct all questions to Carl Brooks, Public Works Director, at cbrooks@harrisonville.com FIFTH--Liquidated Damages. CITY and CONTRACTOR recognize that time is of the essence of the Agreement and the CITY will suffer financial loss if the Work is not completed within the times specified herein plus any extensions thereof allowed in accordance with Regulations of the Contract Article FC-34. Accordingly, CITY and CONTRACTOR agree that as liquidated damages for delay CONTRACTOR shall pay CITY Five Hundred Dollars ($500) for each day that expires after the time specified for Substantial Completion until the Work is substantially complete. After Substantial Completion, if CONTRACTOR shall neglect, refuse, or fail to complete the remaining Work within the time specified for completion and readiness for final payment or any proper extension thereof granted by CITY, CONTRACTOR shall pay CITY Five Hundred Dollars ($500) for each day that expires after the time specified for completion and readiness for final payment.
