Each bid submitted must be accompanied by a bid bond naming the City of Eden Prairie as obligee, Surety2000 or certified check payable to the City of Eden Prairie or a cash deposit in an amount equal to five (5) percent of the total amount of the bid, which shall be forfeited to the City in the event that the bidder fails to enter into a contract. The Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein and further reserves the right to award the contract(s) to the best interests of the City. the furnishing of all labor and materials and all else necessary for placing Emulsified Maltene-Based Material on approximately 26 miles of streets (480,000 square yards) The work to be done under this Contract includes the application of an emulsified MalteneBased Asphalt Rejuvenating Agent to city streets, street sweeping, and cleanup. City personnel will be monitoring the project as it proceeds. This section defines the specifications for the application of the emulsified Maltene-Based Asphalt Rejuvenating Agent to City Streets. The work under this Contract includes the application of maltene based restorative agent to approximately 38 miles of City streets. The City reserves the right to adjust the quantities of project area. The width of the streets within the project area will vary.
