Site work for a water / sewer project in Coalton, West Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Questions will be received until March 31, 2022. The work will consist of the construction of a passive acid mine drainage treatment system including settling ponds, flushing limestone leach beds, and wetlands. West Virginia Code 21-11-2 requires that all Bidders desiring to perform contractual work in West Virginia must be duly licensed. All prospective Bidders shall be licensed prior to submitting their bid and shall include their contractor's license number on their bid in accordance with the requirements of West Virginia Code 21-11-11. Each Bid shall be accompanied by security in the form of a certified check or Bid Bond furnished by a solvent surety company authorized to do business in the State of West Virginia payable to the order of Save the Tygart Watershed Association in the amount of not less than five percent (5 %) of the total bid. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond, both in the amount of at least one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price. Prevailing wages will not be required for this project. STTWA reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in the bidding.
