The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as "VDOT") is soliciting bids from qualified firms to provide equipment and labor to load, haul, discharge, and dispose of aqueous wastewater with high salt concentrations (salt pond water) and solid waste (sludge) from various locations, on an as-needed basis. Services will be pumped from holding ponds located in the counties of Henry, Patrick and Carroll in the Martinsville Residency. PERIOD OF CONTRACT: One year from date of award with one (1) one-year optional renewal period Any questions regarding this invitation for bid shall be addressed to patty.harvey@vdot.virginia.gov. The issuing office shall determine whether any addendum should be issued as a result of any questions or other matters raised. Provide questions no later than 5:00 PM on March 25, 2022.
