Major items of work for this project include, removing water from work areas and controlling water to prevent flow into work areas. Excavate a portion of the existing dam embankment to remove the existing outlet works pipe and to construct the new decommissioning channel. Place and compact a portion of the soil excavated from the dam embankment to construct spreader dikes within Fubar Reservoir. Construct a reinforced cast-in-place concrete inlet and stilling basin structures, as well as the new access road. Reclaim all disturbed areas including staging areas and temporary roads. Construct a 3 barbed and 1 smooth, 4- wire fence. The work covered by this contract includes furnishing all labor, material, equipment, and incidentals necessary to complete this requirement as per the accompanying specifications and drawings. The period of performance for this requirement 365 calendar days after notice to proceed. The BLM expects to issue a Total Small Business Set-Aside competitive solicitation in April 2022. The BLM anticipates issuing a single Firm Fixed Price (FFP) award from this solicitation. Davis Bacon Act (DBA) is applicable, and the appropriate DBA Wage Determination(s) will be included in the solicitation.
