The purpose of these Special Provisions is to supplement, modify, replace and/or delete that portion of the City of San Luis Supplement to Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG) Uniform Standard Specifications and Details for Public Works Construction - 2015 Edition, given herein, which do not meet specific requirements of this project. A Performance Bond in an amount equal to the full contract amount conditioned upon the faithful performance of the contract in accordance with plans, specifications and conditions thereof. Such bond shall be solely for the protection of the Contracting Agency awarding the contract.A Payment Bond in an amount equal to the full contract amount solely for the protection of claimants supplying labor or materials to the Contractor or his Subcontractors in the prosecution of the work provided for in such contract. The Contractor shall be paid for the actual cost plus (10%) ten percent for Administrative cost when the Contractor can provide evidence of payment for premiums on required payment and performance bonds, premiums on railroad and/or airport extended liability insurance, and premiums for property damage and/or public liability insurance. No duplication of payment for Contractor's costs included under Section 109.5.3 (A) will be allowed. The Contracting Agency reserves the right to cancel the award of any contract at any time before the execution of said contract by all parties, without any liability against the Contracting Agency.The Contracting Agency reserves the right at any time to contract for and perform other or additional work on or near the work covered by the contract. The proposed work is located at San Luis, AZ. The work consists of, but is not limited to: Install underground water utilities and underground sewer utilities. Install underground conduit for APS electrical service, APS installed luminaires, and underground conduit for Lumen.
