The San Antonio Water System, hereafter referred to as SAWS, is pursuing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for professional engineering services for the Independent Cost Estimating Services Project ("Project"). Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from interested firms (Respondents) are being accepted in connection with the Project, which will require the scope of services to be performed by qualified professional cost estimating firms (Consultants). The selected firm shall provide independent cost estimating services for water, wastewater, and recycled water facility, pipelines, and other related infrastructure projects. The selected firm(s) will prepare independent construction cost estimates in accordance with AACE guidelines and best practices including 17R-97 and 56R-08. The goal of the Project is to provide independent construction cost estimates for projects with construction value equal to or greater than $3 million. The following includes the general scope of services needed for the Project as part of this Solicitation. The extent and details of the scope of services needed for the Project will be negotiated after the selection of the Consultant(s).
