Inverness Park District is under no obligation to accept any bid, including the lowest bid. Submit questions regarding the bid in writing to Planning Resources, shalberg@planres.com no later than 2:00 PM on March 18th , 2022 This work is related to the installation of a 6-ft perimeter asphalt walking path and installation of an Owner furnished 24x34 pre-engineered ICON Pavilion with electrical service, and site protection associated grading, earthwork, erosion control, seeding, installation of erosion control blanket and any other miscellaneous work necessary for a complete job as depicted in the plans and specifications. The bid packet, specifications and plans are available electronically. The District encourages the participation of businesses owned by Minorities, Females and Persons with Disabilities in the implementation and execution of the Project, either on a direct basis or through subcontracting efforts. DBE requirements for the Project are consistent with State of Illinois DBE requirements. The contractor awarded the contract will be required to post a performance bond, labor and material payment bond in a penal amount equal to the contract price, plus insurance meeting Inverness Park District's requirements. The District reserves the right to (1) cancel or modify this notice or the contract documents in whole or in part; (2) reject any or all bids submitted; (3) waive non-material formalities and technicalities deemed appropriate; (4) postpone bid opening; (5) issue a call for new bids; and/or (6) award the contract for the project in whole or in part, or to one or more contractors.
