Demolition and site work for a water / sewer project in Weatherford, Texas. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project generally consists of demolition, removal and disposal of an existing building, slab, and connecting pipes and general grading. The parties also recognize the delays, expense, and difficulties involved in proving in a legal or arbitration proceeding the actual loss suffered by Owner if the Work is not completed on time. Accordingly, instead of requiring any such proof, Owner and Contractor agree that as liquidated damages for delay (but not as a penalty), Contractor shall pay Owner $ 250.00 for each day that expires after the time specified in Paragraph 4.02 for Substantial Completion until the Work is substantially complete. No pre-bid conference will be held. A bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid, issued by an acceptable surety, shall be submitted with each bid. General Conditions, as may be modified by the Supplementary Conditions, sets forth Owner's requirements as to performance and payment bonds and insurance. When the Successful Bidder delivers the executed Agreement to Owner, it shall be accompanied by such bonds The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids received. estimated cost range of $50,000 to $100,000.
