Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Rockland, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
This Request for Tenders is an invitation to prospective Contractors to submit Tenders from Contractors as further described in Section 3- Scope of Work / Specifications (the "Scope of Work"): This project consists generally in clearing the site, excavating, reconstructing and widening an existing stretch of roadway (including asphalt pavement, sidewalk, guiderail and widening for a future multi-use pathway). The project also includes the complete removal of an existing steel structural plate pipe arch culvert and the installation of a new open footed structural plate arch supported on a reinforced concrete slab complete with reinforced concrete retaining wall. This project consists generally in clearing the site, completing the underground works, pulverizing approximately 2200 m2 of asphalt, rehabilitating the road with two (2) lifts of asphalt and landscaping.
