The project includes maintenance repairs to the existing Cobbs Lake (Lalonde Road) Bridge (Structure #08). The bridge is located on Lalonde Road in the City of Clarence-Rockland, approximately 325m east of Du Lac Road (45.4702, -75.1373). The existing bridge is a ~13m single-span x ~9.1m wide two-lane prestressed concrete voided slab bridge on concrete abutments. The scope of the work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following: - Fully close road to vehicular traffic and install detour route - Mobilize to site - Remove asphalt full depth on bridge deck - Remove waterproofing membrane and protection board on bridge deck - Arrange for the Contract Administrator to sound the bridge deck distribution slab and delineate partial depth concrete removal / repair areas - Provisional Work: Complete Type 'A' partial depth removals and repairs at deck distribution slab - Abrasive blast clean and waterproof the bridge deck distribution slab - Place new hot-mix asphalt on bridge deck - Regrade approach roadways as directed on-site by the Contract Administrator, including placing and compacting new Granular 'A' - Replace damaged sections of existing approach guide rail / bridge barrier as directed on-site by the Contract Administrator - Complete concrete surface removals and mortar repairs at wingwalls (vertical surfaces accessible by foot) - Remove detour signs and reopen roadway to full vehicular traffic - Demobilize from site Question Deadline: Thu Jun 9, 2022 2:00:00 PM (EDT) Documents are available at: https://clarence-rockland.bidsandtenders.ca/ Award subject to final approval
