Renovation of a detention facility in Pendleton, Oregon. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
HVAC Upgrade Pre-Bid Note -No blue denim trousers, blue shirt or camouflage clothing of any type is allowed. Clothing with written messages, photographs or pictures and clothing that exposes the midriff, thighs, bare back or revealing neckline are not permitted (clothing with a small manufactured logo is acceptable). Scope of Work Eastern Oregon Correctional Institution (EOCI) is a medium-security adult male correctional facility located in the Northeastern Oregon community of Pendleton that was originally built as a state mental hospital until it's conversion to a prison in the early 1980s. It first received Adults in Custody (AIC) in June 1985. EOCI's has two (2) each Roof Top Units (RTU) serving the area of the Institution identified as, D-South / Third Floor Infirmary & Dental, which are at or past their expected service life and are in need of replacement. Replacing these Units will ensure continued capability to provide the necessary temperate indoor environment conducive to maintaining the safe and secure operation of this portion of the Institution. In addition, this upgrade will include installation of a Variable Refrigeration Flow (VRF)System throughout the Medical / Dental areas as noted on the Project Drawings to result in an energy efficient means of heating and cooling these areas to be compliant with the current edition of the Oregon Energy Efficiency Specialty Code (OEESC).
