Solicitation Summary DT-549-220-003 Roof Repairs @ Charles Hickey School Additional Instructions All Minority Business Enterprises are encouraged to respond to this Solicitation. THIS IS FOR SBR VENDORS ONLY- SMALL BUSINESS RESERVED. The successful contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, tools, materials and supplies required for replacing the flat roofsection ofthe existing roofon The Roosevelt Hall Building at Charles Hickey School, 9700 Old Harford Road, Baltimore Md. 21234, in according with the terms, conditions and specifications. The work shall be done to the Department ofGeneral Services "Standards for new Construction, Re-Roofing Construction and Roofing Guarantee Requirements" dated July 2019, the latest version of SMACNA as well as other standards referenced in Section 075419 ofthese specification, to include International Building Code - IBC -2015 Description of Work: 1. Remove exiting system down to decking, exiting decking is wood. 2. Replace any deteriorated wood decking at a square foot price. Unit Price #1) 3. Install a vapor barrier. 4. Install 3 1/2" polyisocyanurate insulation to deck, fasted per FM 1-90 Standards. 5. Install 14 inch cover board over installed polyisocyanurate insulation. 6. Install tapered insulation, slope to be 1/8 inch per foot. 7. Install new vent boots on all pipes. 8. Raise curbs ifnecessary to get proper flashing height. 9. Install new counter flashings. 10. Install new 24 gauge aluminum Gravel stops and Copings. 11. Remove and reinstall exiting gutters and downspouts. 12. Install new 60mil fully adhered TPO roofsystem with 20 year NDL Full Warranty. (GAF EverGuard Gold Seal) or equal. A sample warranty packet and a letter from the manufacture stating the contractor is an approved applicator ofthe product and can obtain the warranty will be required priorto awarding the contract.
