The Department of Juvenile Services is soliciting bids for a contractor to provide a 2 year preventive maintenance service and emergency service for all the emergency generators, transfer switches, and associated electrical and mechanical components located at the Charles Hickey School. The e-mail submission subject line shall state the IFB 23-MX-HI-006 Bid Submission. The body of the email shall contain the Name and Phone Number of the Contact if the IFB Bid Document has a Password. Late bids shall not be accepted. Failure to attend the pre-bid and site visit does not relieve the successful Bidder from the obligation to comply with all aspects of this Bid package for the amount specified in the bid. The Procurement Officer will contact all contractors that submitted a timely bid with password protection immediately after the Noon closing time for the document password. The Bidders Contact shall provide the password to the Procurement Officer upon request or their Bid may be determined non-responsive. Bids will be opened publically beginning at 12 Noon on the bid due date in Building Unit 14 at Charles Hickey School. A bid summary will be issued ASAP Minority Business Enterprises (MBE) and small businesses are encouraged to respond to this solicitation as a primary Contractor and are encouraged to obtain certification.
