Renovation of a municipal facility in Raleigh, North Carolina. Design plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
As of January 5, 2024, an architect was selected and project put on indefinite hold shortly after the selection. A firm timeline for construction has not been determined or if it will move forward. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The NC Wildlife Resources Commission requests Letters of Interest concerning the renovations of several areas of the agency headquarters in Raleigh. The WRC Headquarters building was completed in 2006 and the agency is looking to re-allocate building space to improve utilization and improve visitor experience in the public areas. Renovation is anticipated to occur over approximately 3,600 square feet of building space spread between the building's ground, first, and second floors. WRC is seeking an architectural firm to lead the project in designing the renovated spaces and to head a team of mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and structural engineers needed to design the modifications to the existing support systems. Selection will be made based on the 10 "Selecting Criteria" listed below. A proposal that outlines these 10 criteria is easier to review.
