Renovation of a municipal facility in Raleigh, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 6,500-square-foot municipal facility.
Project Location: Terry Sanford Federal Building, 310 New Bern Ave, Raleigh, NC 27601. Magnitude Of Construction: Estimated range for construction costs is $250,000 and $500,000. SOW: Renovate for the United States Marshals Service (USMS) approximately 6,500 gross square feet of space on the Third Floor. The space is currently vacant and minor reconfiguration will be needed to meet the programmatic needs of the USMS. It is anticipated that this work will be completed in two (2) phases: Phase 1a - Paint all walls 2 coats and clean carpet, Phase 1b – Provide and install new openings and demolish areas. Install for the USMS a backbone (conduits with pull strings) to accommodate a future Access Control System. The backbone will originate within the USMS Server Room located on the First Floor and will terminate on the Eight Floor. Renovate for the U.S. Probation approximately 1,750 gross sqft of space located on the Fifth floor. 365 Calendar days period of performance. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
