Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The scope of work for this project shall consist of one course HMA resurfacing for the project length, replacement of curb & gutter at various locations, and installation of ADA ramps at multiple intersections. May also include other miscellaneous items as depicted in the project documents Please contact Purchasing at (269) 337-8020 if you have any questions regarding Davis-Bacon provisions. Questions regarding terms, conditions and other related bid requirements may be addressed to Craig Hull, Buyer, at (269) 337-8444. The bid must be accompanied by a bid bond which shall not be less than five (5%) percent of the total amount of the bid. No bid will be considered unless it is accompanied by the required guarantee. A performance bond and payment bond shall be furnished in the full amount of the contract ensuring the City of faithful performance of all the provisions of the contract, and the satisfactory performance of any equipment required hereunder After receipt of notification by Contractor of Notice to Proceed work shall start no earlier than July 11, 2022. Project shall have a final completion date of September 16, 2022. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and waive informalities and minor irregularities in bids received.
