Site work and paving for a civil project in East Moline, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The project consists of replacement of two alleys with PCC pavement, watermain replacement and associated water service connections, sanitary sewer replacement and associated sewer service connections, and storm sewer installation. Work quantities include, but not limited to, approximately 1,340 LF of 8 watermain, 1229 LF of 8 sanitary sewer, 495 LF of 12 storm sewer installation, 1,520 SY of PCC alley pavement, driveway replacement and other related construction items. A bid bond or certified check payable to the City Clerk of the City of East Moline, Illinois in the amount of 5% of the bid amount shall be submitted with each proposal. Bids shall be valid for 60 days. The City of East Moline will not discriminate against any person because of race, color or religion, sex or national origin. All contracts for the Construction of Public Works in the City of East Moline are subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12). The contract will be awarded based upon the bid that will be in the best interest of the City of East Moline, and the City reserves the right to waive any irregularities in the bids and to reject any or all bids and to determine which is lowest and/or best for the proposed project.
