Site work and paving for a road / highway in East Moline, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
If proposals forwarded by mail, the sealed envelope containing the bid must be enclosed in another envelope addressed to the City of East Moline, 1200 - 13th Avenue, East Moline, Illinois, 61244. This project involves removal and reconstruction of approximately 5,000 SY of heavy-duty concrete roadway pavement, aggregate shoulder construction, and appurtenant work. A bid bond or certified check payable to the City Clerk of the City of East Moline, Illinois in the amount of 5% of the bid amount shall be submitted with each proposal. Bids shall be valid for 60 days. The City of East Moline will not discriminate against any person because of race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. All contracts for the Construction of Public Works in the City of East Moline are subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/ 1-12). The Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularities in the bids and to reject any or all bids and to determine which is lowest and/or best for the proposed project.
