Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in East Moline, Illinois. Design plans call for the construction of a fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
As of April 14, 2025, the sale of the project's land has been completed. Design is expected to begin in mid-summer 2025 and run to mid-summer 2026. Neither the architect nor the general contractor has been confirmed; the architect who worked on the original contract may return but that is currently under discussion. Bidding is anticipated to begin Fall 2026, with construction running from Winter 2026 through 2027. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: City of Moline is requesting statements of Interest and Qualifications from qualified firms to perform architecture and engineering services for the development of plans and specifications for the construction of a new fire station. Statement of Interest and Qualifications must be submitted on the required forms and signed by an authorized agent to be considered responsive to the RFQ. The City reserves the right to reject any or all responses hereto, as well as the right to waive any technicalities in otherwise responsive submissions if it should be deemed in the public interest and to invite for interviews and the firms which are, in its opinion, most advantageous to the City.
