Reference Number 00002968925 The Town of Mahone Bay is seeking unit price bids for the mowing of lawns at the Bayview and Park St. cemeteries. The Contractor shall supply all labour and equipment to mow all grassed areas located within the fenced perimeter of the Bayview Cemetery and within the tree lined perimeter of the Park Cemetery. The grass should be mowed at least once per week to a height of 5cm (2 inches) in length. The grass height cannot exceed 10cm (4 inches) in height at anytime during the contract. Mowing includes trimming along fences, around buildings, signs and headstones/grave markers on a bi-weekly basis. Raking and disposal of grass clippings and small tree branches must be carried out on an as required basis; grass clippings and small tree branches may be disposed of on-site as directed by the Town's Representative. Please note, Town staff will complete a "spring clean-up" of the cemetery in advance of the start date for this contract which will involve the removal of branches, leaves and debris that will leave the site suitable to begin mowing and trimming. The start date of the mowing portion of this contract is Monday, May 9th, 2022 and ending on Sunday, September 25th, 2022 (20 week period).
